Jean O. Burt, 74, a lifelong resident of Marshall, TX, passed away on August 7, 2025. He was born in Marshall on November 22, 1950, to the late James and Ruby Burt.

He was the beloved father of James (Samantha) Burt and the proud grandfather of Kennedy Burt. He is also survived by his sister, Nancy (Wayne) Harris; his niece, Althea, and nephew, Ronnie, along with their numerous children and grandchildren.

Jean had a passion for the outdoors and loved spending his time camping and fishing. He was also skilled with his hands and enjoyed working on various craft projects. Jean had a unique sense of humor that kept everyone on their toes.
