Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 10, 2012 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Leigh, TX. Jeffery Lynn Lane "BABY JEFF" was born in Marshall, Texas to the parentage of the late Clarence Morris Lane and Barbara Jewel Lane on June 25, 1960. At an early age he joined St. John Baptist Church of Marshall, Texas. He received his education at Karnack Schools. He later served in the United States Navy. He is survived by his wife: Kathryn Moore-Lane and two daughters Tara Moore and Tanya Moore of Dallas, Texas, four grandchildren Zy'Ky'llia Byrd, Dontrell Leonard, Zy'Terria Moore and Dynilan Leonard; two brothers, Robert Broadnax (Jewel), Michael Davis and two sisters Ruby Humble (Winfred), Judy Bell (Clarence) and aunt Betty Mitchell (Nell Faye) and uncles Leon Everitt, Earnest Lane and Earl Davis.
