Jennifer Lynn Attaway, 39 of DeBerry, Texas passed away on February 3, 2019 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Visitation will be held on Thursday February 7, 2019 from 1-2 p.m. at Downs Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on February 7 at 2 p.m. at the Downs Funeral Home Chapel.

Jennifer was born on December 28, 1979 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Jennifer graduated from Elysian Fields High School class of 1998. She received her bachelor's degree from LSUS. Jennifer worked as an account manager for Jweinland Group Benefits for one year. Prior to that, she worked at Gallagher Insurance Company. Jennifer enjoyed running, The University of Texas Longhorns, and really enjoyed all sports, especially loved ALL things Dallas Cowboys! She really was a true fan! She enjoyed spending time with family especially on family vacations at the beach. She loved her children dearly and was a very devoted mother.

Jennifer is survived by her parents Gene and Vonda Galles, Jennifer's husband Carl Attaway III, her children Caitlyn Attaway and Jacob Attaway, Brother Chris Galles and fiancé Erin Land, father-in-law Carl Attaway, Jr., and a number of other nieces and nephews

Jennifer is preceded in death by her grandparents Nell and Gene Galles, Sr., and Grandmother Iylene Holm
