Jerry Alan Myers, 63, surrounded by family peacefully passed away in Dallas, on December 30, 2023. He was born on July 29, 1960, in Salem, Illinois to Jerry Lee Myers and Billie Jean Myers Earwood.

Jerry married the love of his life, Kristy Kale on June 23, 2007. He provided love, encouragement, and unwavering support throughout their cherished years together. They have one daughter, Jasmine Lynne Myers, whom he adored. Their years together were filled with joy, laughter, tears and lots of love.

Jerry graduated from Marshall High School and retired from the United States Postal Office after 20 years of service. He was currently working for the Marshall Independent School District Police Department.

During his leisure time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching war and western movies. He loved spending time with his family. If there is one thing Jerry loved, it was to crack a joke. He had one of the warmest and biggest presence. He greatly loved all of his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Kristy Kale Myers; daughter, Jasmine Lynn Myers and sisters, Deanna Adkins and Gena Elliott.

Even though Jerry's time was cut too short, his absence will be greatly mourned by his grieving loved ones, including his adoring wife, Kristy, daughter, Jasmine and loving sisters, Deanna Adkins and Gena Elliott.

He is gone but his memory and presence will never be forgotten.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
