Funeral services for Mr. Jimmie "Jim" Donald Hill, 78, Of Karnack will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday February 5, 2013 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Andrews Cemetery in Karnack. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Monday February 4, 2013 at the funeral home. Mr. Hill passed away February 2, 2013. Jimmie Donald Hill was born November 4, 1934 in Many, Louisiana to Odis Hill and Lorene Timmons Hill. He later married Jimmie Lou Bridger. Mr. Hill was employed as a maintenance foreman for 25 years at Monarch Tiles, retiring in 1996. Surviving Jimmie are his daughter and son-in-law, Jeannie and Lonnie Smith of Elysian Fields; twelve grandchildren, Sam and Bobbie Smith, Amanda and Andrew Champion, Crystal Stephens and Jamey, Johnnie and Althea Green, and Donnie and Sherry Green all of Elysian Fields, Scotty and Brooke Smith , Chesley and Brandy Hill, James Hill, and Cindy and David Smith all of Hallsville, Virginia Rouse and Fred of Doddridge, Arkansas and Jimmie Hill and Macky Hill both of Marshall; eighteen great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Geraldine Kirkland and Sadie Hull both of Beckville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jimmie Lou Hill, two daughters, Alice Green and Robin Jones and one son, Buddy Hill. Serving as pallbearers will be Sam Smith, Scotty Smith, Donnie Green, Johnnie Green, Chesley Hill and James Hill.
