Jimmy Lewis Davis Graveside services for Jimmy Lewis Davis, 59 of Marshall will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday May 22, 2011 in Cave Spring Cemetery in Marshall with Casey Howell officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Saturday May 21, 2011 at the funeral home. Mr. Davis passed away Thursday May 19, 2011 in Shreveport. Jimmy Lewis Davis was born December 10, 1951 in Marshall to Jimmy Rueben Davis and Mettie Louise Elwood Davis. He married Martha McNeil Wisdom in 1988 in Marshall. Jimmy served in the National Guard for seven years and was employed by the City of Marshall Water Utilities until his retirement in 1992. Jimmy had many hobbies such as fishing, wood carving, tinkering, and motorcycles. Surviving Jimmy are his wife, Martha Wisdom Davis of Marshall; mother, Louise Davis Francis of Marshall; two daughters, Stacy Davis Tarrant and husband Neil of Austin and Brandy Davis Mongognia and husband Pete of Naples; one brother, Elbert Davis and wife Diane; two sisters, Shirley Shaw and husband Wayne and Bonnie Williams and husband Dan all of Marshall; four grandchildren, Stone, Joshua, Samantha and Sawyer and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
