A memorial service for Jimmy Thomas Henington, 55, of Marshall, Texas, will be held Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 11am, in the chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Jimmy passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 in Marshall, Texas. Jimmy Henington was born April 13, 1960 in Joplin, Missouri to Jerry and Sue Henington. He was a graduate of Reagan County High School, class of 1979. Jimmy was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and son. When not working as a compressor mechanic for DCP Midstream, you could find Jimmy spending time with his family and friends. Left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Jerry and Sue Henington of Midland, TX.; wife, Melissa; children, Lyndal Watkins and wife Kim of Midland, TX., Misti Langston and husband Cody of Marietta, OK., Kye and wife Heather Henington also of Marietta, OK., Holly Doege Jeitz of Van, TX., Kiara Davis and husband Toby of Grand Saline, TX., Kelbie Lemons, Tegan Lemons and Zachary Lemons, all of Marshall. He is also survived by his sister, Debbie Green and husband Jerry Yancy of Miles, TX., and brother Jerry Lynn Henington of Merzton, TX.; and 10 grandchildren.
