A Graveside Funeral Service for John Harman Noble, 89, of Waskom will be held at 2:00p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2017 in Restland Cemetery, Waskom. Officiating will be Rev. Nick Esch. Mr. Noble passed away Monday, March 13, 2017 in Shreveport.

John Noble was born January 03, 1928 in Doddridge, Arkansas to Oscar and Susan Noble. He attended school in Bright Star, Arkansas. Upon completion of school he joined the United States Army and served during the occupation of Japan following WWII. After an honorable discharge John joined the U.S. workforce as a roughneck in the oilfields. He later worked for Fabsteel until their closing in 1985. John was a member of First Baptist Church, Waskom.

Survivors include his children, Randy Noble, Steve Noble and wife, Rhonda, and Sharman McDearmont and husband, John; sisters, Claudine Johnson, Betty Brice and husband, Don, Faye Clayton, and Opal Teague and husband, Bill; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. John is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
