John Earl Webb, 62, died February 21, 2019 after a long illness. His funeral will be held Saturday March 2, at Downs Funeral Home Chapel, 4608 Elysian Fields Road, Marshall, Texas followed by internment at Rosehill Gardens Cemetery, Marshall, Texas.

Mr. Webb was born May 16, 1956 in Dallas, Texas to Doylyn and Verma Horace Webb. Mr. Webb grew up in Dallas but moved to Marshall after his marriage to Willie Mae McCoy on March 6, 1988. His family paid tribute to him, 'Earl was a good man, one of the kindest men you could ever meet. Over the years, he has opened his heart and home to family and friends in need.'

He is survived by his wife, five sons, John, John Earl, DEVJUAN, Doylyn and Cedric Cox; two daughters, Crystal and Cassandra; one grandson that he raised, Gregory; one brother, Milton and two sisters, Vernester Kay and Sherry; thirteen grandchildren and 8 great grand-children.
