A Funeral Service for Johnnie Sue Parrish, 77, of Marshall will be held at 10:00am Friday, August 12, 2016 in the Little Chapel by the Lake at Colonial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation with family and friends will take place Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Downs Funeral Home. Ms. Parrish passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016 in Marshall.

Johnnie Sue Parrish was born November 23, 1938 in Marshall, Texas to John Freeman and Golden Kilgore Jones. She married Joe T. Parrish on February 04, 1967. She worked at Thiokol Chemical Corporation for 38 years.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father and husband.

Surviving Johnnie Sue Parrish are her brother and sister-in-law, Rayford and Dorothy Jones. ; sister, Marilyn Huffman; nephews, James Patrick Jones, John Stephen Jones and wife, Cammie; great-nephews and nieces, Christopher Lee Laizure, Michael Freeman, John Garrett and James Brennan Jones; nieces, Tori and Lexi Vaughan; and cousins, Jacquelyn Reppond and Patricia Graves.
