Funeral services for Johnnie Lynn (Su-Su) Reeves, 61, of Marshall will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 26, 2013 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Paul and Quincy Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Colonial Gardens Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at Downs Funeral Home. Mrs. Reeves passed away December 23, 2013. Johnnie Moore Reeves was born January 30, 1952 in Marshall, TX to Oscar Lynn Moore and Johnnie Bell George Bostick. Mrs. Reeves was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She graduated from Marshall High School with the Class of 1970, and then graduated from LeTourneau University with a degree in Business Management. Mrs. Reeves married Donald Reeves on February 12, 1971 in Idabel, OK. She was a Business Manager for AEP - Swepco with 25 years of service. Mrs. Reeves is survived by her husband, Donald Reeves of Marshall; mother, Johnnie Bostick of Marshall; two daughters, Tiffany and John Tamplin of Marshall, Crystal and Jason Pyle of Marshall; one son, Butch and Cheryl Reeves of Marshall; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; one brother, Larry and Lanza Moore of Kerrville; two sisters, Mary Ann and Gary Arneson of Longview, and Dianne and Elbert Davis of Marshall. Mrs. Reeves was preceded in death by her father and her daughter, Wendy Boen in 1994.
