Funeral services for Johnnie Theresa Bryer Robertson, 71, of Carthage will be held 4:30 p.m., Thursday, October 18, 2012 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Pastor Dickson Rial and Pastor Jeff Lott officiating. Interment will follow in Grange Hall Cemetery. Mrs. Robertson passed away October 16, 2012 in Garland, TX. Johnnie Theresa Bryer was born June 18, 1941 in Marshall to Elias and Rosa Merline Fyffe Oney. She was a member of Grange Hall Methodist Church. Mrs. Robertson was a property manager for Public Storage. She had previously worked for Harrison County Sheriff's Department and the City of Marshall Police Department. Mrs. Robertson is survived by her husband, Don Robertson of Carthage; her mother, Rosa Merline Oney of Marshall; daughters, T.C. Bancroft and husband Jeff of Marshall, Jill Keel and husband Brad of Forney, Pebbles Knight and husband Roy of Gary, Wendy Fountain of Gilmer; sons, James "Buddy" Cox and wife Shelly of Marshall, Jessie Robertson and wife Kim of Diana, John Fountain and wife Brandy of Pueblo, CO; sisters, Joan Brackeen and husband Bill of Garland, Dianne Morgan and husband J.R. of Marshall, Betty Richardson and husband Tom of Jacksonville; brothers, Elias Bryer, Jr. and wife Wanda of Harleton, Harold Bryer and wife Sandy of Murfeesboro, TN, Travis Dan Oney of Seattle, WA, Harold Oney and wife Carmen of Longview; grandchildren, Jonathan Hollingshead and wife Samantha, Bailee Cox, Hanna Kelly, Rolland Robertson, Riley Robertson, Racheal Robertson, Rendi Knight, Amanda Knight, Peyton Keel; great grandchild, Chase Hollingshead; along with her much loved 13 nieces and 11 nephews. Mrs. Robertson was preceded in death by her fathers, Elias Bryer and Travis Leo Oney; her brothers, Jack Bryer, James Michael Oney; her son, Timothy Fountain; and sister-in-law, Marie Oney. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Hollingshead, Michael Oney, Paul Bryer, Randall Carter, Jessie Robertson, Roy Knight. Honorary pallbearers will be Glenn Brackeen, James Fyffe, Joe Cox, Jr., Michael Cox and Bracee Lott.
