A memorial service for Joseph "Joe" Francois 84, of Marshall, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2018 at Trinity Episcopal Church.

Joseph "Joe" Francois was born May, 19, 1933 in St. Lucia. Mr. Francois was a very kind hearted man but was able to be tough when need be. He loved going to church, being around his family, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Francois enjoyed watching westerns and boxing. He also enjoyed playing dominos and cards in his free time.

Mr. Francois is survived by his daughters, Francesca, Ramona, and Anana all of England, and Nora Brown spouce Clarence of Texas; sons, Nicholas and Liberatus of St. Croix, USVI; step children, Melvin Petersen of Texas, Beryl Doward of St. Croix, USVI, Myrtle Green of New York; grandchildren, Natasha Francois, Adrianna Newton, Crystal Brown, Shakari Francois, and Sebastian; great-grandchildren, Nya, Aaliyah, Aydene, Markevian, Noah, and many others in England and New York.

Preceding Mr. Francois in death is his loving wife, Violet Francois and a grandchild, Shamar James Francois.
