Graveside services for Joey "Tex" Jefcoat, 35 of Marshall will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, October 16, 2017 in New Grover Cemetery. A time of visitation will take place from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Downs Funeral Home. Joey passed away October 8, 2017 in Dallas.

Joey "Tex" Jefcoat was born April 3, 1982 to James Dennis Jefcoat and Barbara Bell Brooks. Joey was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying deer hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed hanging out with friends. His daughter, Abbie was the light of his life. Joey was also a really good uncle and was very close to his nieces and nephews who referred to him as "Uncle Jo Jo".
