Graveside services for Joyce Jean Moore, 88, of Marshall will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 2 p.m. in Gill Cemetery. Mrs. Moore passed away March 22, 2017.

Joyce Jean Moore was born March 11, 1929 in Marshall to James and Eunice Hudson. She later married Floyd Lloyd Moore. They were married 53 years before he preceded her in death in 2001. Joyce worked for Marshall Pottery and East Texas Industrial Gas Co. She loved tending to her garden and reading, but most of all, she loved her family and was the center of their world.

Surviving Joyce are two daughters, Wanda Flanagan and husband Johnny; and Glenda Moore; grandchildren, Shelley Roselius and husband Chris, Kyla Weiss and husband John, Lorna Moore and Will Moore; five great – grandchildren; special sister-in-law, Cre Hudson; numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved pets, Maggie and Bullet. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents, one daughter, Donna Floy Moore and one son, Barry Floyd Moore.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Marshall Animal Shelter.
