Graveside services for June "Miss' June" (Muh) Phillips will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Grange Hall Cemetery in Marshall, Texas with Bro. James Fleet officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-7 p.m., Monday, June 12th at the Downs Funeral Home in Marshall. " Miss June" was born on June 9, 1931, and passed away June 10, 2017 in Marshall. She loved gardening, cooking, and especially spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids.

Survivors include her daughter, Tricia Phillips Hart; grandson, Zach Hart and wife Crystal; her sister Elizabeth Hardy; great grandchildren, Judge, Blaze, and Alyssa. Also surviving are her adopted son, Londell Johnson; loving care givers, Kathy Maestas and Pamela Taylor, and the 4th floor staff at Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center, numerous nieces, nephew, cousins, other family and friends, and her beloved "Sugars".
