Funeral services for Kari Rene Hunt, 31, of Lindale, TX will be held 9:30 a.m., Saturday, December 7, 2013 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Father Denzil Vithanage and Pastor Joe C. Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Colonial Gardens Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 p.m. with a Rosary from 7:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, December 6, 2013 at Downs Funeral Home. Ms. Hunt passed away December 1, 2013 in Marshall, TX. Kari Rene Hunt was born February 9, 1982 in Austin, TX to Henry Hunt, Jr. and Cindy Lee Todd. She is a Marshall High School graduate. Kari was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and Cowboy Church of Harrison County. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and a proud aunt. Kari was loyal and dedicated to her family. Left to cherish Kari's memory are her children, Brianna, Kylie and Zane; her mother, Cindy Kopecky and husband Alfred; father, Henry "Hank" Hunt and wife DaLonna; sisters, Loni Jeschke, Samantha Burt and husband J.R., Laura Napier and husband Chris, Cori Mackey and husband Andrew; brother, Matthew Kopecky and wife Samantha; maternal grandparents, Lee and Bonnie Todd, Alfred and VaDonna Kopecky; paternal grandparents, Jennie L. Hunt, Charles and Sandra Schleicher; great-grandmother, Della Wilhoit; nieces and nephews, Corbin Napier, Brooklyn Stevens, Aiden Mackey, Preslie Kopecky, and eagerly anticipated arrival of Baby Burt in June; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. Kari was preceded in death by one uncle, Nathan Todd; her grandfather, Henry "Papa" Hunt, Sr; and great-grandparents. Pallbearers will be Matthew Kopecky, J.R. Burt, Andrew Mackey, Chris Napier, Scott Todd and Ricky Reyna.
