Kathryn Lucille Finley was born on December 20, 1934, in Marshall, Texas to John Bryan Hall, Jr. and Virginia Bell Hall and passed away on September 8, 2025, in Marshall.

She married John Charles Finley on March 26, 1955, in Marshall, Texas and the two remained married until his passing. She was a proud member of Eastern Star at Jacksonville, Texas. She enjoyed traveling around while John served in the Military. She loved working in her flower beds, and shopping. She enjoyed being ornery. She loved her church, her church family and most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Virginia Hall; husband, John Charles Finley and brother, John B. Hall, III.

She is survived by her son, James Charles Finley and wife, Mary Lynn; brother-in-law, James Thomas Finley and wife, Linda; sister-in-law, Angelica Hall; grandchild, Charles Alan Finley and wife, Key and great grandchildren, Destiny LeAnn Finley, Charles Michael Finley and Jonathan Alan Finley along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 13, 2025, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Algoma South Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 12, 2025, at Downs Funeral Home.
