Graveside services for Kathryn Maples Patrick, 78, of Scottsville, TX will be held 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Center Cemetery, Harleton, TX with Bro. Seth Buckner officiating. A time of visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, February 8, 2013 at Downs Funeral Home. Mrs. Patrick passed away February 7, 2013 in Shreveport, LA. Kathryn Maples Patrick was born March 25, 1934 in Harrison County to J. M. Petty Sr. and Clara Louise Smith Petty. She was a homemaker, enjoyed life and loved her grandchildren. Mrs. Patrick love to dance, and she was a Baptist by faith. Mrs. Patrick is survived by her daughter, Bertha Maples of Marshall; a special friend, Robert Chambliss of Jefferson; grandchildren, David Anderson of Marshall, Misty Tidovsky and husband Peter of Shreveport, LA, Michael Anderson and wife Holly of Longview, Ashley Parker of Shreveport, LA; son-in-law, Donny Parker of Marshall; great grandchildren, Nathan Tidovsky of Shreveport and Heather Anderson of Longview; sister, Inez Whatley of Benton, AR; children of Robert Chambliss, Brenda Kay Sierra of Abilene, Robert Chambliss, Jr. of Hopkinsville, KY, Marty Glen Chambliss of Blanchard, LA, Tina Suzette Chambliss of Hopkinsville, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Patrick was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bert Maples, second husband, Walter Patrick, and a daughter Pamela Parker. Pallbearers will be David Anderson, Michael Anderson, Peter Tidovsky, Nathan Tidovsky, Marty Chambliss, and Donny Parker.
