A funeral service for Kelly Heard Goswick, 50, of DeBerry, will be held at 10:00a.m., Thursday, November 02, 2017 in the chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Bro. Barry Teutsch officiating. Interment will follow the service in DeBerry Cemetery. Visitation with family and friends will take place Wednesday, November 01, 2017 from 6:00p.m. - 8:00p.m., at Downs Funeral Home. Mrs. Goswick passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 28, 2017.

Kelly Heard Goswick was born December 13, 1966 to Gary and Michele Heard in Dallas, Texas. Kelly worked for many years in the medical industry as an X-ray Technician. She was a member of the Eastern Star and former Matron of the OES Chapter 812 of Waskom, Texas. In her free time Kelly enjoyed quilting, camping, traveling and U.T. Football. She was an avid reader who loved sitting down and immersing herself in a good book. Kelly looked forward to date nights with her husband, Jay. Many of those nights were spent at local movie theaters watching a good movie, something Kelly loved to do. She enjoyed entertaining and spending time with her friends, but more than anything Kelly loved spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many.

Those left to cherish the many warm memories of Kelly Goswick are her husband, Jay Goswick; son, Nathan Kriegel and his girlfriend, Mikaela Lane; son, Kyle Kriegel and wife, Paige; father, Gary D. Heard and wife, Kathy; and brother, Doug D. Heard and wife, DeAnn. She is also survived by her beloved pet, Pepper Renea as well as many special nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Preceding Kelly in death was her mother, Michele Heard; sister, Michele A. Henderson; and her beloved dog, Kelcee Renea.
