Services for Kimberly Lynn Berryman, 61, of Marshall, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 20, 2026, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in the Woodlawn Community. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the Chapel.

Kimberly was born on February 3, 1965, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Claude DeWayne Fenton and Jean Johnson Fenton and passed away on August 16, 2026, in Marshall, Texas.

She was the most caring, lovable, God-fearing woman. She loved Jesus, her family, and her cats Luke and Leia. She enjoyed church, shopping and finding flip flops and jewelry to match. She always wanted to help those in need and do for others. She was a very giving person and loved giving gifts to others. She was a member of Mulberry Springs Baptist Church. Her favorite phrase of endearment was 'I love you the most'. She was happily married to the love of her life 'John', she cherished spending time with her sister, daughter, and grandson. She laughed and continued smiling through good times and bad.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Jean Fenton and other mother Juanita Briggs Fenton, brother Pat Briggs and her father-in-law, James Berryman.

She is survived by her husband, John Berryman of Marshall, Texas; daughter, Kristen Oden and husband, Zachary of Waskom, Texas; sister, Karla Cox and husband, Michael; sister-in-law, Denise Briggs; grandchildren, Bryce Alexander, Jacob Oden, Jayce Oden and Caleb Oden; great granddaughter, Addlee Oden; granddaughter by heart, Alex Stevens; aunts Betty, Melba, and Martha; niece, Tatum Foster; nephews, Remington Foster, Chris Briggs and Jason Briggs and mother-in-law, Willa Berryman along with other family and friends.
