Funeral services for Lanna Tate Bradbury, 70, of Marshall, TX, will be held at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, January 10, 2015, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Segers officiating. Interment will follow at Yates Cemetery in Scottsville, TX. A time of visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, January 9, 2015 at Downs Funeral Home of Marshall. Mrs. Bradbury passed away January 7, 2015 in Shreveport, LA. Lanna Tate Bradbury was born August 25, 1944, to Garmer Tate and Lottie Konesheck Tate. Lanna married Mike Bradbury on September 8, 1968 in Nacogdoches, TX. She taught school for Marshall ISD for 35 years before retiring. She enjoyed working beside and traveling with her college sweetheart, and the love of her life, her husband Mike. Lanna was a loving wife and Grammy with a heart of gold. Surviving Lanna are her husband, Mike Bradbury of Marshall; daughter, Kelley Bradbury Conford and husband Surry of Douglass, TX; sons, Brandon Tate Bradbury and wife Billie, Brian Thomas Bradbury and wife Haley, all of Marshall; brother, Frank Tate and wife Margie of Eagle Lake, TX; 4 grandchildren, Karley, Klein, Keaton, and Braxton Bradbury; 2 nieces, Sandy Schneider and husband Leon, Penny Henske and husband Mike; 1 nephew, Curtis Tate and wife Sally; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Sabina, Tina, Henry and Vincent Bradbury; and other extended family and friends.
