Funeral services for Larry Garnett Nimmo, 73 of Marshall will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday November 3, 2011 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Mr. Nimmo passed away October 28, 2011 in Marshall. Larry Garnett Nimmo was born was born November 21, 1937 in Stafford Kansas to Murphy E. Nimmo and Verla Toland Nimmo. He married Janet Cleek on December 30, 1995. Larry was a quick witted person and loved to make people laugh. He also loved his family and his wife, whom he loved most of all. Larry loved to cook and had a passion for the stock market. Surviving Larry are his wife, Janet Nimmo of Marshall; sons, Larry G. Nimmo, Jr. and wife Beth and Scott Nimmo all of Littleton, CO; daughters, Kelly Guenther and husband Todd of New York and Kristy Arnold and husband Jim of Marshall; nine grandchildren, Matthew Nimmo, Bethanee McCandless, Dana Bollwerk, Craig Scott, Michael Scott, Sydni Arnold, J.C. Arnold, Emma Grace Guenther and Ella Gwyn Guenther and three great-grandchildren, Brandon and Cheyenne McCandless and Jason Bollwerk.
