Larry E. Richardson was born November 3, 1956, in Reform, AL to Jerry Donald Richardson and Audrey Mae Richardson. He passed away September 8, 2023, in Longview, Texas surrounded by his family. He graduated from Carrollton High School in 1974. He then worked in the Oil & Gas industry for over 40 years where he continued to work until his passing.

In his spare time Larry enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and cheering on the University of Alabama. He was a proud father of two daughters, but his heart belonged to his grandchildren who affectionately called him Pop-Pop.

He is survived by his daughters Jamie Brown and husband Brian; Jessica Richardson and Fiancé James Holliday; grandchildren, Ellie Garret, Beau Brown, Libby Kate Brown, Kyla Holliday, and Kaitlyn Holliday; brother Jerry Richardson and wife Sharon; niece Jennifer Carr and husband Greg; nephew Joey Richardson and wife Karen and four great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Audrey Richardson and infant sister, Sheila Ann Richardson.

A time for family and friends will be on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bethel Methodist Church in Elysian Fields, Texas. A Memorial and Graveside service will be held in Carrollton, Alabama at a later date.
