To this union, seven children were born. Austin later passed away in 1958. On August 30, 1971, Laura united in holy matrimony to Dotry Hamilton, and to this union of 23 years, three children were born. She was preceded in death by both of her husbands; her parents; and four of her children, Alzora Rowe, H.C. McCray, Bobby Mundine and Zella Hamilton. She leaves to cherish her memory, four sons, Johnny McCray, Billy Hamilton, Sr., Lawrence (Burnette) Hamilton, all of Waskom, TX, Charles (Debbie) McCray of Houston, TX; two daughters, Dorothy May and Myrtle (Greg) McFarland. Laura has an abundant amount of grandchildren, great grandchildren and even great-great grandchildren, who live to carry on her legacy; and a host of other relatives and friends.
