Funeral services for Lavencia Sparks, 56, of Marshall will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday Sptember 22, 2012 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Old Border Cemetery. Mr. Sparks passed away September 13, 2012 in Marshall. He was born July 31, 1956 to Londell and Merline Lester Sparks. He graduated from Marshall High School and was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Sparks worked a number of years for Republic Industries. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and just having a social life. Surving Lavencia are his mother, Merline Lester Sparks; daughter, Alisha Sparks both of Scottsville; son Allendale Crenshaw (Dasha) of Tyler; brother, Emory Sparks (Avonne) of Marshall; sister Priscilla Sparks of Scottsville and a number of nieces, nephews and other realitives. He was preceded in death by his father, Londell Sparks and one brother, Earnest Sparks, Sr.
