Services for Lawrence "L.K." York, 77, of Marshall, Texas will be at 2pm, Saturday, September 26, 2015 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. A visitation will take place from 6pm to 8pm, Friday, September 25, 2015, also at Downs Funeral Home. L.K. York was born February 3, 1938 to Sammy York and Daisy Mae Williams in Marshall, TX. L.K. is preceded in death by his father, mother, and daughter, Anita York. He united in marriage with his wife, Willie Faye on February 2, 1958, and to this union they had their daughters Anita and Brenda. L.K. departed this life on September 19, 2015 at Good Shepard Medical Center in Marshall, Texas. He leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted wife, Willi Faye York; daughter, Brenda Hall (Charles); brother, Kenneth Williams; special "Big Brother", Charles Lefall (Gloria); sisters, Willie Ruth Mitchell and Doris Brown; grandchildren, LaKeisha Hall, Charles Hall, Jr. (Amanda), Nicole Hall, Amber Hall and Rick Clark (Jannica); great-grandchildren, Corrina Hall, Tangela, Corrdaro and Corrisa McPhail, Peyton Carlos and Hensley Faith Hall, Donavon Greene and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
