Funeral services for Ms. Lee Anna Murph, 95 of Marshall will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday February 13, 2011 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Dr. Dan Hoke officiating. Private family interment will follow in Gill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-5:30 p.m., Saturday February 12, 2011 at the funeral home. Ms. Murph passed away Tuesday February 8, 2011 in Marshall. Lee Anna Murph was born June 30, 1915 in Atlanta, TX to Bob Lee Wall and Drusilla Hill Wall. On June 19, 1955 she married Audie Lee Murph, Sr who preceded her in death. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She was also a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, flowers and poetry. Surviving Lee Anna are step- sons, A.L. Murph and wife Billie of Cape Girardeau, MO, Denver Murph and wife Betty of Marshall and Marvin Murph and wife Edwina of Longview and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two step-daughters, Lillie Telano and Erma Jean Murph; brothers, R.D. Wall , Martin Wall, Tom Wall and Marion Wall and sisters, Una Watters, Bernice McDuff, Ruby Wall, Gladys Wall, Norma Wiggins and Alva Wall.
