A funeral service for Linda Gayle Hein, 69, of Marshall, Texas will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 30, 2024, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel.

Linda was born on August 27, 1955, in Belton, Texas to Lloyd Gus Hein and Syble Ruth Dobbins Hein and passed away on December 25, 2024, in Marshall, Texas.

She worked at Kroger's before retiring seven years ago. She was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. She loved baking, traveling with Glenda and Bruce and loved to go to the Choctaw Casino in Grant, Oklahoma. She loved helping her nieces and nephews and spending time doing things with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Syble Hein and her grandparents.

She is survived by her sister, Glenda Rains and husband, Bruce along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her honor to the charity of your choice.
