Private graveside services will be held Saturday, October 4, 2014 for Linda McCool, 66, of Marshall, TX. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Friday, October 3, 2014 at Summit United Methodist Church. Words of Comfort will be at 6:00 p.m. with Dr. Randy Fitzgerald officiating. Mrs. McCool passed away October 1, 2014 at her home. Linda Sue Brady McCool was born June 29, 1948 in Carthage to Clyde and Lora Bell Arnold Brady. She received a degree from Panola College, and was employed by the Texas Employment Commission for 30 years as a claims interviewer. Linda married W.T. "Tom" McCool on June 28, 1980 in Marshall. She was a member of Summit United Methodist Church. Surviving Linda are her husband, W.T. "Tom" McCool of Marshall; daughters, Amy Suzanne Bailey, Amanda Michelle Wheeler and husband Michael, all of Marshall; brothers, Dwayne Brady of Carthage, Gene Brady of White Oak, Charles Brady of Long Branch; sisters-in-law, Anita Brady and Jo Ed Brady, both of White Oak; grandchildren, Shelby, Kason, Janson, Wade, Kyle, Kala, and Austin; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Lora Bell Brady. Pallbearers will be Dwayne Brady, Gene Brady, Stephen Lane, Tom McCool and Michael Wheeler. Special thanks to her caregivers, Linda Carver, Mary Maples, and Dr. Dawn Whelchel.
