Linda Montgomery was born in McComb, Mississippi, on June 21, 1953 to Perry Leroy Roberts, Jr. and Elain Cothern Roberts. She passed away at the age of 61 years on January 9, 2015 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She attended St. Dominic's Hospital School of Nursing. Linda was a loving mother, and aunt, who loved kids, good friends, gospel preaching, and singing. She also loved her dogs. She attended Faith Independent Baptist Church. A Memorial Service will be 7 p.m., Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Faith Independent Baptist Church in Waskom, with Pastor Doug Lovett officiating. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m., preceding the service. Survivors are her daughter, Marie Montgomery of Waskom; niece, Theresa Brown and husband, Daniel of Poplarville, Mississippi, and their children, Scarlett and Emily; nephews, Jeremy and wife, Erin Roberts of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and Benji and wife, Missy Roberts of San Diego, California, and their children, Alex and Benny. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Ray Montgomery; her parents; brother, Rickey Roberts; sisters, Dorothy L. Wallace, and Betty Patricia Roberts; daughter, Connie Sue Montgomery.
