A funeral service for Linda Johnson Stafford will be held at 10:00a.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2019 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home.

Linda Johnson Stafford was born on October 8, 1956 in Marshall, Texas to her parents, David Davenport and Inell Davenport. Mrs. Stafford passed away on March 22, 2019 in Forney, Texas. She was a member of Paradise Baptist Church and worked for TDC for over 10 years as an administrator. Mrs. Stafford enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her grandson, Jayden Miles. She had a heart of gold, she never met a stranger.

Mrs. Stafford is survived by her children, LaKendria Green (Isaac) and Leviticus Johnson; siblings, Tom Johnson, Tony Johnson, Tyrone Johnson, Brenda Jones, Rozell Parrish, Louise Lee, Yuonne Atkins, and Andrea Davenport; grandchildren, Jayden Miles and LaKendra Johnson; a number of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Stafford is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Rev. Ray Charles Stafford.
