Lois Farnham Smith Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Farnham Smith, 84 of Longview will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday February 06, 2011 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Rust officiating. Interment will follow in Piney Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m. prior to the funeral home. Mrs. Smith passed away February 02, 2011 at her residence. Lois Farnham Smith was born October 17, 1926 in Marshall to Charles Andrew Farnham and Mary Irene Netterville Farnham. She attended Marshall Public Schools and was attended Macedonia Baptist Church. On June 08, 1974 she married Chesley Foster (C.F.) Smith, Jr. Surviving Mrs. Smith are her husband, C.F. Smith of Longview; children, Geneva Busby and husband Chuck of Baytown, Toni Sharp and husband Dr. Burt Sharp of Longview Beverly Carter of Keller, TX, Charles Wood of Keller, TX and Jeff Smith of Arp, TX; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; brother, Charles Farnham of Waskom and sisters, Shirley Brewer of Fairfax, OK, Marilyn Rowland of Blanchard, OK and Juanita Russell of Valdosta, GA and her special caretakers, Luz Olivia Villa and Veronica Villa. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Mary Amy Hall, step-mother, Pearl Farnham, Sisters, Mildred Fuller, Dorothy Cowan and Betty Oney and brothers, Tom Farnham, Buford Richardson and Algie Richardson.
