Lois Ellen Smith Graveside services for Lois Ellen Smith, 61, of Karnack will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hatfield, Arkansas under the direction of Downs Funeral Home in Marshall. Mrs. Smith passed away Saturday, October 22, 2011 in Marshall. Lois was born in Austin, Texas to Newman Edward Dees and Lois Lorene Talley on November 27, 1949. She attended school in Smithville, Oklahoma. She married James Larry Smith, Sr. on November 22, 1967 in Zafra, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker. Lois joins her father, Cooper Talley; mother, Lois Lorean Talley; grandmother, Martha Morrison and sister, Leona Fairless in Heaven. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of forty-three years, James Larry Smith, Sr. of Karnack; son, James Larry Smith, Jr. and his significant other Evelyne Waxler; daughters, Dusty Singleton and husband Perry, Gidget White and husband Brian, Martha George and her significant other Kevin Ragingini; and fifteen grandchildren, Jimmy, Dekota, Cody, Faith, Avery, Cheyenne, Jaquita, Justina, Ashley, James III, James IV, John Allen, Dannon, Kindra and Jazzy; sisters, Barbara Davis, Judy Osthoff and Jeanie Bonkofsky.
