Funeral services for Lonnie Wayne (Loni B) Hancock, 55, will be held at Downs Funeral Home Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 2:00pm with Bro. Carlton Ray Burris officiating and Visitation on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00pm.

Lonnie was born on Nov. 26, 1962 in Marshall, Texas to parents Cecil (Buddy) and Nora Clark Hancock and passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018 in Birmingham, AI.

Lonnie graduated Marshall High Scholl class of 1981 and was an honor graduate from TSTC with an associate degree. He was a longtime member of Immanuel Baptist Church and K&D Hunting Club. Lonnie was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and fish with a bow or gun.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Stephens Hancock; son, Brandon Hancock; parents, Cecil (Buddy) and Nora Hancock; uncles, Eugene and Carolyn Clark, David and Judie Clark; aunts, Glenda and James Roberts, Shelia Clark, Barbara and Gerald Riddle; in-laws, Coco and Linda Cabrera; sister-in-law, Ashley and Tony Riley; brother-in-law, Jim Stephens; nephews, Chase and Remington Riley, Wade and Brian Stephens, with many cousins and friends.

Lonnie is preceded in death by sister, Lisa Lyn Hancock; grandparents, Jerry Cecil Hancock, Leon and Viola Clark, Sr., Jewel Reel; uncle, Leon Perry Clark, Jr.; aunt, Nellie Hobbs; nephew, Bobby Stephens; and special friends, Ward (Pojo) Bionoti, and Doug Guardner.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Hancock, Coco Cabrera, Tony Riley, Heath Mersino, Corky Bionoti, and Jeff Earl.
