Lou Ella Magana, 58, of Marshall Texas, died Thursday April 9th at her home in Marshall Texas. Mrs. Magana was born Lou Ella Owen on Aug. 9, 1961 in Linden, Texas. She remained in the Linden and Jefferson area her entire life until the tragic wildfires of 2011 claimed their family homes and then relocated to Marshall.  She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Ruie Faye Owen and George Lewis Owen, and her brother, George "hotrod" Owen.

She is survived by her husband and best friend since their blessed union on June 14th, 1978, Frank Magana, two sons and one daughter-in-law Jesse Lee Magana and Franco Lewis and Christina Magana, all of Marshall,  2 sisters, Annie Pilley of  Logansport and Georgia Pate-Owen of Jefferson as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

"Baby sister"or "road-runner" as her family affectionately called her worked various jobs over the years but being a loving daughter, wife and mother were always her proudest achievements.

She was an avid fan of her beloved Dallas Cowboys and Roger Staubach. She was also a true inspiration to anyone that had witnessed the many health battles that she overcame throughout the years. She will be missed, loved, and forever be her family's sunshine.

Due to current state and county regulations, visitation and viewing cannot be conducted.

She Will be laid to rest on Monday April 20th @ 2pm at the Shiloh United Methodist cemetery.
