Lula V. Williams Pollard was born August 25, 1938 in Waskom, Texas to Ocie C. Williams, Sr. and Irene Haynes Williams.

Lula passed on July 29, 2017 at the age of 78. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Belview Baptist Church of Waskom, Texas. She attended schools in Waskom, Texas. She also attended nursing school in Dallas, Texas.

Lula united in holy matrimony to Henry Pollard.

Lula is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Sammy Joe Williams, Mack 'Bro' Williams, and Ocie 'Sugar Man' Williams; sisters, Lizzie 'Baby Girl' Gray, Lorene 'Dump' McFarland, and Viola 'Vi' Kennedy.

Lula leaves to cherish her memories: son, Benjamin E. Williams of Waskom, Texas; daughter, Nancy Brown (Raymond) of Hallsville, Texas; grandchildren, Roshundra Bailey (Demarcus) of Tyler, Texas, Zemeka Williams of Marshall, Texas, David Williams of Longview, Texas, Myron Williams of Kingsland, Georgia, Kierra Brown of Longview, Texas, Brandon Brown of Hallsville, Texas, and Derion Green of Longview, Texas; great grandchildren, James and Jamiya Bailey, Colby, Kheyne and Trinity Jackson, Arianna Williams, Tavian and Dylan Williams, and Jayden Brown; brothers, Willie James Williams of Waskom, Texas, Roy Williams and Fennis 'Sig' Williams both of Marshall, Texas, Roger Williams of Houston, Texas, John Williams of Dallas Texas, and Ennis 'Lil Bro' Williams; a host of other relatives and friends.
