Memorial services for Ms. Lynda Baxter, 70 of Marshall will be held at 5:00 p.m., Saturday November 06, 2010 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Shane Johnson officiating. Ms. Baxter passed away November 2, 2010 in Longview. Lynda Baxter was born March 31, 1940 in San Francisco, California to Lyndon Brown VanHook and Corrine Collins VanHook. She worked as an LVN for Home Health in Marshall and had worked in the ER at Marshall Memorial Hospital. Surviving Lynda are her sons, Charles Baxter of Shreveport, LA and William Baxter of Bellevue, WA; daughter, Elizabeth Sagers of Marshall; sister, Donna Jobe of Marshall; brother, William VanHook of Mobile, AL and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
