Obituary

Margaret Lee was born to Annie Lee Chambers and Samuel Julius Burkham on November 28, 1927. Born to one of the sweetest and strongest women to live, she enjoyed a childhood of love, laughter, and a strong foundation in Jesus.

At the age of fourteen she fell in love with William Thomas (Tommy) Redmon, they were married six years later in 1947 and together they had three children - William Thomas (Bill), Julia Ann (Judy), and Jack Cleveland. Tommy went to be with Jesus in 1962.

In 1967 she married Frank Keener and together they moved to the farm in Scottsville where they raised and spoiled many grandchildren with lots of adventure, life lessons and the love of Jesus. Frank (Grandad) preceded her to heaven in 1992.

In 2000, she married James Davis, and they enjoyed a wonderful 22 months laughing together before he preceded her in Christ.

Her greatest joy and role in life was being a Honey, and she loved each and every grandchild and great grandchild so much that they all sincerely think they are her favorite.

She reveled in community and Christ and enjoyed hosting and attending Bible studies and devoting her life to the living word. She worked as a hairstylist in her early years and never missed an appointment at the beauty shop.  She enjoyed visiting, cooking, singing, making her own rules, finding humor in all things and being a safe space and warm embrace for strangers and friends alike.

She is survived by her children: Bill and Betty Redmon, Julia and Max DeVore, Jack and Sheryle Redmon and her grandchildren Chris Redmon, Bryn Redmon, Tommy and Trisha Redmon, Marty DeVore, Amy and John Haecker, Wendy and Scott Marder, Kacy and Trevor Hankins, Sam Redmon, Anna and Ryan Burks. She is survived by great grandchildren: Reagan, Randi, Dayne, Cohen, Max Dale, Julianne, Blythe, Logan, Lauren, and Rebekah, Anna Lea, Harrison, Jaxon, Grayson, Emmaline and soon to be Lilimae.

She is also survived by Sharon and Keith Turner, Kathy and Gary Haecker, and Susan and Ron Minatrea and their children; Kim and Rose Davis, Joy and Tom Roeh, Becca and Zeke Harkleroad, Andy and Cindy Haecker, Jenni Haecker, Ben and Mandy Haecker, Rachel and Jason Parrent, Dan and Katie Haecker, April Minatrea, Jason and Olivia Minatrea. She is survived by great grandchildren: Mable, Molly, Caroline, James, Sarah, Audrey, Avery, Limothy, Josh, and Wesley, Joy, Reagan, Riley, Rebecca, Zoe, James, Eli, and Malachi, Grayson and Willow.
