Funeral services for Ms. Margaret G. Taylor, 87 of Marshall will be held at 10 a.m.., Saturday September 03, 2011 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Boyd officiating. Interment will follow in Powder Mill Cemetery in Marshall. Ms. Taylor passed away August 26, 2011 at her residence. Sister Margaret Taylor known as "Sue" was born March 22, 1924 in Marshall to Sedalia Mukes and Willie Green. She united with Greater Oak Grove Baptist Church at an early age. Margaret united in Holy matrimony to George Taylor on March 15, 1943 and to this union, four children were born. She was employed at Thiokol for 20 years and was also a beautician. She leaves to cherish her memories three loving children; sons, George Taylor, Jr. and Robert Taylor and one daughter, Roberta Cooper. She also leaves a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Kenneth Taylor, husband, George Taylor, Sr. and one granddaughter, Taya Cooper.
