Funeral services for Margie Ladell Payne, 64, of Marshall, TX will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2012 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Flanagan officiating. Burial will follow in Colonial Gardens Cemetery. Friends and family will have a time of visitation from 1:00 - 2:45 p.m., January 14, 2012 preceding the service. Ms. Payne passed away Thursday, January 12, 2012 in Marshall. Ms. Payne was born July 21, 1947 in Marshall to Carlton Payne and Margie Edna Adkins. Ms. Payne was a loving grandmother. She is survived by her mother, Margie Adkins; her sister, Rhonda and Lynn Tress; her daughter, Margie and Brandon Jones; her sons, Clifford and Darlene Paulk, Robert and Penny Paulk and Shane and Candice Paulk; her grandchildren, Brooke Paulk, Hope Paulk, Ashley Gardner, Jonathan Jones, Abigail Jones, Mikenlie Jones, Robert Paulk, Jr., Taylor Paulk, Alex Paulk, Alexis Birdsong, Peyton Paulk, Emily Paulk, Bailey Paulk, Cash Paulk, Erica Paulk, Carly Paulk, Vincent Luza, and Damian Greer; 3 great grandchildren; 2 nieces; and a handful of Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Ms. Payne was preceded in death by: a loving Step-father, Clifford Adkins, her father, Carlton Payne, and a daughter, Valeria Paulk. Pallbearers will be Robert Paulk, Jr., Jonathan Jones, Brandon Jones and Vincent Luza.
