A graveside service for Maria Fe Hernandez, 63, of Marshall, Texas, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 13, 2026, at Algoma North Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Downs Funeral Home.

Maria was born on August 10, 1962, in Guerrero, Mexico, to Jose Macedo and Guadalupe Flores and passed away on February 9, 2026, in Dallas, Texas.

Maria's greatest joy in life was her family. She loved attending and cheering at her children's and grandchildren's soccer games, proudly supporting them from the sidelines. She expressed her love through cooking, and her home was often filled with the warmth of family gatherings, laughter, and shared meals. She was deeply grateful for her many blessings and treasured every moment spent with those she loved most.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jose Macedo, and her daughter, Elimed Hernandez.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Tiodolo Hernandez; her loving mother, Guadalupe Flores; her children, Lupe Casarez (Ricardo) of Marshall, Eliazar Hernandez (Analisa) of Longview, Edith Casarez (Miguel), Erik Hernandez (Maricela), Hernan Hernandez (Ana), and Elvis Hernandez and fiancée, Adrianna, all of Marshall; her siblings, Rufino, Josefina, Roberto, Lalo, Mario, Estela, and Rosa; and her cherished grandchildren, Yahir, Giselle, Ricardo, Eliazar, Ethan, Ezekiel, Santiago, Leonardo, Mia, Elijah, Camila, Olivia, Elvis Jr., and Luka, along with many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
