Funeral services for Elsie Marie Brevard Wyatt, 80 of Harleton, Texas will be held at 10am, Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Lone Oak Baptist Church in Harleton under the direction of Bro. Billy Brewer. Visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm Friday, November 6, 2015 at Downs Funeral Home, Marshall. Mrs. Wyatt passed away Wednesday, November 04, 2015. Elsie Marie Brevard Wyatt was born July 18, 1935 in Panola County, TX, to Richard and Ava Ruth Brevard. In March of 1956, Marie Brevard married the love of her life, Arty L. Wyatt. They spent the next 59 years loving for and caring for one another. She was a loving mother to her two children, Michael and Pam; a proud grandmother of four, and a devoted wife. Marie spent many years caring for others as an LVN, working at various local nursing homes. She was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church and the Longview Loblolly Sams RV club. Marie enjoyed card games, dominos, cooking, spending time with friends, and most of all spending time and caring for her family. She is survived by her husband, Arty L. Wyatt; son, Michael Wyatt and wife, Julie of Lake O' the Pines; daughter, Pam McNeil of Marshall; four grandchildren, Brandon McNeil and wife, Kelsi, Jordan Wyatt, Anna Hardy and husband, Kalin, and Abby Jones and husband, Adam; as well as three great-grandchildren, Jake Hardy, Jaxon Hardy, and Lyric Wyatt. Preceding Marie in death are her parents, Richard and Ava Brevard.
