Marinell Pieper was born November 02, 1943 in Galveston, Texas to Theodore and Irene Pieper. On Christmas Day of 1982 Marinell and James Reuben Pieper united in marriage in Marshall, Texas. For 34, almost 35, years they loved and cared for one another tending to the other's needs. Marinell loved children. She was a Register Nurses Associate for Elysian Fields ISD and was involved with the GA's and was a longtime member of Crossroads Baptist Church where she was also able to work with children. Her smile was big and her heart bigger. She loved her friends and family and enjoyed spending time with children and great-grandchildren. Reading, watching her favorite TV shows, gardening and picking vegetable were among her many hobbies, but cooking for family was her favorite thing to do, her way of showing love.

Surviving Marinell is husband, James Pieper; children, Scott Pieper and Jody Pieper; sister, Cassie Hale and spouse, Shandy; grandson, Jody Piper, Jr and spouse, Kristin; great-grandchildren, Carlee, Case, and Chett Pieper. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and loving friends.

Marinell was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Irene Pieper, and one sister, "Sissy".
