A funeral service for Marjorie Jo McClellan will be held at 2p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2019 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6-8p.m. Friday, January 11, 2019 at Downs Funeral Home.

Marjorie Jo McClellan 71, of Marshall, Texas passed away on January 6, 2019 in Mount Pleasant, Texas. Ms. McClellan was born March 13, 1947 in Marshall, Texas to her parents, Emory McClellan, Sr. and Willia Opal Hudson.

Ms. McClellan is survived by her brothers, Joseph McClellan, Sr., Martin Whitaker, Jr.; sister, Wanda Whitaker Perkins.

Ms. McClellan is preceded in death by her parents, Willia Opal Hudson and Emory McClellan, Sr.; brother, Emory McClellan, Jr.; step-father, Rev. Martin Whitaker; nephew, James Whitaker.
