Mark Edward Kiser, Sr., was born October 09, 1945 in Ballinger, Texas to the late Mark Edwin Kiser and Martha Ellen Kiser Gray. He passed away peacefully at home on January 23, 2016. As a young man, he proudly served his country in the National Guard. On December 09, 1968, Mark married the love of his life, Linda Samples. They spent the last 47 years loving and caring for one another. Together they built a loving home raising 4 children and one grandson, Ezekiel Gilcrease. In addition to owning several businesses throughout his career, Mark spent many years as a coring engineer and consultant for Baker Hughes before his retirement. In his free time, you could often find Mark on area lakes doing what he loved, fishing. He was an avid bass fisherman, a long-time member of the Waskom Bass Club, and a lifetime member of the Bass Angler Sportsman Society. In honor of his favorite pastime, we welcome you to wear your fishing attire to his service.
