A memorial service for Marni E. French, 54, of Jefferson will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 30, 2013 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Segers officiating. Mr. French passed away November 19, 2013. Marni was born December 27, 1958 in Cocoa Beach, Florida, to Curtis and Edythe Yvonne Landesberg French. He attended the West Palm Beach, FL schools. Marni served his country in the U.S. Army. Marni married Nancy Rae Turpin on May 22, 2003 in Linden, TX. He was a wonderful father and husband, and a good friend to a lot of people. Marni is survived by his wife, Nancy French; his sons, Shane French, Airman 1st Class Michael French; sister, Bonnie Sloan; brothers, Jay French and wife Ruth, Adam French and wife Mary; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
