Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Marni Gobert of Marshall, Texas Harrison County, passed away Monday, June 23, 2025, at Christus Good Shepherd Hospital in Longview, Texas.

She was born to OM and Lyria Gobert on July 15, 1957, in Marshall, Texas. She was the middle child and the only girl of 3 born to OM and Lyria.

Marni was educated in Marshall, Texas graduating with the Marshall High School Class of 1976. She remained in Marshall and decided it was time to start her own little family and at the age of 26 Marni gave birth to her only child on March 5, 1984; her daughter, Tiffany Nicole.

Marni worked for many years in the manufacturing and labor industry along with having a love for painting pottery at The Old-World Store. After many years of doing what she did best she retired in 2010.

Marni enjoyed spending time with her daughter, her grandkids and her great grandkids. She loved music, bonfires, sitting outside enjoying the great outdoors, feeding the neighborhood chickens, painting/drawing, watching her most favorite Netflix series and finally her most favorite hobby was to scroll social media – "Facebook and TikTok."

Left to cherish Marni's memory are her daughter, Tiffany Manning and husband Jeff of Woodlawn, Texas. Her oldest brother James (Jim) Gobert and wife Sandra of Woodlawn, Texas. Youngest brother John Gobert of Marshall, Texas. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren: Blayah Else, Yasmine Else and Ronald "Arley" Else III, who gave her the name of "Gamma". She also had 2 great-grand daughters: Khelani & Avayah Jackson who called her "GiGi". Marni also had one niece Alisha Garrison and husband Jason of Longview, Texas. Two nephews, Jay Gobert and wife Sandra of Longview, Texas and Jared Gobert and wife Cori of Longview, Texas. She also had 2 great nieces and 3 great nephews that gave her the name "Aunt Mar-Mar". Marni also has cousins and friends that are left behind to cherish her memory.

She is preceded in death by her parents: OM & Lyria Gobert and her best dog ever, Casper.

She will be deeply missed by her family, her Woodlawn Baptist Church Family and an abundance of friends she made throughout the years. Special thanks to her daughter, Tiffany, who was her primary caregiver for the last 7 years and took the best care that she possibly could of her.

The family would like to thank you all for the calls, the texts and the prayers during this difficult time. We ask that you keep us in your prayers in the days to come
