Funeral services for Martha Weaver McBride, 80, of Marshall, TX, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 12, 2015, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Bro. Craig Evers officiating. Interment will follow in Eagle Creek Cemetery in Harleton, TX. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Saturday, April 11, 2015, at Downs Funeral Home. Mrs. McBride passed away April 9, 2015, in Marshall, TX. Martha Weaver McBride was born December 28, 1934, in Marshall, TX to Walter and Jewel Dean Naron Weaver. She was a graduate of Marshall High School, and she worked as a bookkeeper in the oil and gas industry. Ms. Martha was an avid Cowboys fan and spent most of her time watching Cowboys' games. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and fixing lunch everyday. She loved shopping on the QVC Shopping Network. Ms. Martha married Hervy McBride on August 6, 1955 in Hugo, OK. He preceded her in death. Surviving Ms. Martha are her daughters, Pam Poppy and husband Larry of Uncertain, Sandy Schuiteman and husband Joey of Marshall; grandchildren, Paul Ford and wife Jamey of Carthage, Tiffany Laine and husband Jason of Frisco, TX, Tera Poppy and Bryan Bethune of White Oak, Cassie Ford and Cody Bloodworth of White Oak and John Schuiteman of Marshall; 10 great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; 2 adopted grandchildren, Kiley and Laurie Epperson; 1 adopted great grandchild, Emily; other extended family and many friends. She will forever be remembered as everyone's Mammaw. Pallbearers will be Kiley Epperson, Ben Harber, Byron Ford, Dillon Moore, Skip Thomas and Richard Roberts.
