Graveside services for Martin L. Yohn, Sr., 88, of Karnack, TX, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 24, 2014 at Restland Cemetery in Waskom, TX with Bro. Doug Lovett officiating. Interment will follow. Mr. Yohn passed away October 22, 2014. Martin Luther Yohn was born in New Brockton, Alabama to Perry and Bertha Martin Yohn. He worked as a butcher for Abrahams for a number of years. Mr. Yohn was a Baptist. He enjoyed working on the farm, spending time with his grandchildren and fishing. He was a very hard worker. Martin married Alma Pohl in 1948 in Marshall, TX. Surviving Mr. Yohn are his wife, Alma Yohn of Karnack; children, Martin Yohn, Jr. and wife Jan of Gladewater, Theresa Darnell and husband Harold of Marshall, Steve Yohn and wife Gale of Linden, and Tom Yohn and wife Penny of Waskom; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters and a grandson, Brian Yohn.
